Huntington Beach Doggy Beach

Today was the first time Leia voluntarily entered the water to play without being coerced in any way... all it took was a little social learning, after she saw the others jump right in, she followed eagerly.  Here is a little video I took of one of her romps around the shoreline...

It looks like Leia has found herself the perfect pillow for an afternoon snooze... This is a far cry from their usual combativeness toward each other...

Just downloaded the blogger iPhone ap and wanted to get a few more pics and perhaps a video or two up and running...

First Trip

This is a picture of Leia (around 3 months) hanging out in my truck as we're setting up at Leo Carillo Campground in Malibu, CA.  It's my personal favorite and I get a chuckle out of it. She was awesome during the trip and had so much fun.  We would wake up early and go on morning walks, and then she would sleep until after my friends and I ate breakfast and were ready for the day excursions.  They don't allow dogs on the main trails but we found others that were ungaurded by the camper/ranger/helper guy we ran into...  Mainly we stuck to the dried out river bed and she was amazingly agile and brave, I was really impressed.  She charged forward climbing through all the rocks... so impressive that my friend dubbed her superdog...  so thats where the blog name comes from...

First things first... Hello my name is Casey, this blog is about my dog Leia, she is a Hungarian Pointer -- A Vizsla... 

Leia is 4 months old and as the blog title states... she is a super dog...  and also wild and crazy at times too, but hey she is just a pup right?
